Terms of Service

Cabinette is a personal knowledge library for saving, organizing, searching, and revisiting content such as articles, videos, Reddit threads, PDFs, notes, highlights, reflections, and related metadata.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must provide accurate account information and must not use another person's account without permission.

You keep ownership of the content you add to Cabinette. By saving or uploading content, you give Cabinette a limited license to store, process, display, index, summarize, embed, search, and otherwise use that content only as needed to provide and operate the service.

You are responsible for the content you save or upload. Do not use Cabinette to store or share content if you do not have the right to do so, or if doing so would violate law, third-party rights, or another service's terms.

The Cabinette Clipper is designed to save content you choose from the active browser tab into your Cabinette account. You are responsible for deciding what to clip and for complying with the terms of the websites you use.

Cabinette may use AI systems to generate summaries, titles, embeddings, search results, answers, or recaps. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your use. Do not rely on Cabinette as a source of professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical advice.

You may not use Cabinette to break the law, infringe intellectual property rights, upload malware, abuse the service, scrape or attack the service, interfere with other users, bypass security or rate limits, reverse engineer non-public parts of the service, or use the service to build a competing product in a way that violates these Terms.

Cabinette depends on third-party services for authentication, hosting, storage, analytics, databases, AI processing, and external metadata. Cabinette is not responsible for third-party services, websites, or content.

Cabinette may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update the app, extension, supported content types, limits, or integrations as the product evolves.

You may stop using Cabinette at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service, or use Cabinette in a harmful or unlawful way.

Cabinette is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that saved content, AI output, search results, or metadata will always be accurate or available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cabinette will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.

We may update these Terms as the product changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
